JR Atami Station Akao Resort Hotel Courtesy Bus (10 min.) Akao Resort Hotel Where to buy train tickets: You can buy train ticket at the JR ticket office located in the B1 Level of Narita Airport. To get to the JR ticket office, you can follow the direction, and take either elevator or escalator down. Types of tickets: Basically you will take express trains, so you need to buy both railway ticket and express train ticket with seat reservation. On express train ticket, you can choose either reserved seat or non-reserved seat. The difference of cost is some 10-20%. So, it's suggested to buy reserved seat ticket. Please remind all the seat of Narita Express is reserved. Fair and to get discount railway ticket: You can buy one railway ticket from Narita to all the way to Atami. The fair of railway ticket is 3,260 yen, which is less expensive than to buy two separate tickets from Narita airport to Tokyo, and from Tokyo to Atami. Fair and to get discount express train ticket: If you buy both Narita Express train ticket and Tokaido Shinkansen express train ticket at the same time, you can get discount Narita Express train ticket by some 20%. The fairs of Narita Express train and Tokaido Shinaksen Kodama train are respectively 1,660 yen and 2,190 yen. As a whole, from Narita to Atami, it costs 7,110 yen including both railroad ticket and express train ticket. Major credit cards are accepted at the major JR ticket offices including one at the Narita airport. Take Escalator to up to Ground level. See map of Tokyo Station. Narita express train leaves at Narita airport station at twice an hour. Note: Narita Express trains for Yokohama stop at Shinagawa station, where Tokaido Shinaknsen Kodama also stops. Tokaido Shinkansen (Super Express Train) "Kodama" will depart at Shinkansen lane in Tokyo Station twice per hour Time Required: about 52 minutes Note There are three types of Shinkansen Trains: Nozomi, Hikari, and Kodama: Important: Nozomi and Hikari do not stop at Atami.  Please take either a free courtesy bus at the bus station or a taxi at the taxi station illustrated below. It takes some 10 min. to the hotel. The free courtesy bus is blue color and indicates a logo of hotel on the side. By taxi, it costs some 1,000 yen.
